It seemed like I hadn’t been home for the entire duration of 2012, due to uni taking up most of my time, as well as some incredible work commitments over the summer months, so I jumped at the opportunity to spend two weeks amongst family and friends this Christmas. It was a fairly quiet festive period, but it was delightful nonetheless.
Parents provided world class grub with a side serving of love and affection, friends made me laugh, and boardgames entertained. The arrival of a wonderful young lady, both before and after Christmas further added to the happiness, and it’s safe to say I haven’t ever felt luckier.
I’m sure we all say it, but I honestly believe I have the greatest family and friends anyone could hope for. I wish them all the best for 2013, and I will be starting out this new year with a niggling feeling that it’s going to be a good one.
Now it’s time for me to head back to London to finish my degree, spend some nights hanging out with loads of other awesome people, and hopefully earn some god damn money. Oh and I’m going to Prague with the previously mentioned ‘wonderful young lady’. I cannot wait!
